Amanda & Ian’s vision was all about color, dancing, disco, and fun details. From a photo booth to shiny cowboy hats, it was one of the biggest parties of the summer.
For colors, we had them all. Purple & blue mixed with yellows and oranges-we went vibrant, bold, and bright. The bar had disco ball floral arrangements to continue the theme.
A disco cowboy dance party with vibrant florals.
The most unique part of the floral design was the 200+ feet of carnation strings over the reception space.
The Center of the Arts has a tall ceiling, and we wanted to make the reception feel more intimate. With string lights from Alpenglow hung next to strings of colorful carnations, we brought the ceiling down to continue the party vibes of the evening.
Reception
The couple reused their ceremony arch for behind their sweetheart table (always one of my favorite touches!) We did a mix of petite vases for the rectangular tables and lush ikebana for the round ones. The bar and the sweetheart table got carnation strings to match the ceiling, and we scattered floral arrangements across other parts of the reception. From the photobooth to the dessert table, we had flowers everywhere.
My personal favorite moment of this wedding was when the couple decided to do their own last dance to end the evening. No photographer, no guests, no planners. Just their own private dance to end the evening.
