Frequently Asked Questions, Answered

  • Booking begins in November (of the previous year, i.e. Nov ‘25 books for summer of ‘26) and goes until March, depending on how quickly the calendar fills up! You can always reach out about your date the summer before, and I can pencil you in. I don’t officially do consultations or book until after the current wedding season wraps up.

I can usually fit in elopements or microweddings and often book those on a rolling basis!

  • You can start with booking a consultation on my website. We will begin with a 30 minute phone call so I can get an idea of your vibe, style, and what you’re looking for. Then I will create a detailed proposal with several quote options. If you are ready to book after the proposal, then we do a non-refundable deposit and a contract. A final consultation happens in the spring to get all the details finalized! Of course, we can be in touch at any time throughout the year via email or text.

On your wedding day, I will deliver your flowers, set them up, and come clean up after your wedding ends so you have nothing to stress about on your big day.

  • I started Sundrop Flora as a flower farm and floral design operation. When it got too big for me to handle both, Jenna purchased the flower farm part of the operation from me. Now, Sundrop Flower Farm and Sundrop Floral Design work together every summer to bring local, organic flowers to weddings and events in the Gunnison Valley. I purchase flowers from the farm and do all design work for elopements, weddings, and events. Jenna provides bulk flower and u-pick options for brides who prefer to go the DIY route.

  • We do not currently have a retail location. I have a private studio where I do floral design work! You can arrange to pick up arrangements either there or at the farm.

  • Yes! In July-early October, you can request to have individual arrangements delivered around the Gunnison Valley. Because we use local, seasonal flowers, we do not have availability outside of those months. Please give us a minimum of a week’s notice to accommodate your order.

  • As of fall 2025, I have personally designed and completed over 60 weddings and dozens of elopements. I started in 2022 with a single wedding and have grown from there! I have also freelanced with Heather from Fin + Ally Floral on multiple weddings, as well as worked for florists in New Orleans.

My education has come from working with other florists, online classes, a professional floristry class in Scotland, and lots of practice! I am always trying to improve my skills and am excited when clients want to try something unique. This spring, I am traveling to Belgium for a class with the renowned floral designer, fleuropean.
