Annemarie & Eric

Venue: Town Ranch

Location: Crested Butte, CO

Annemarie & Eric had an early summer, wildflower mountain wedding. On the same weekend of the Wildflower Festival in Crested Butte, it was the perfect weekend for a lush, flower-focused celebration.

The colors were vibrant, bold, & wildflower inspired. Purple asters were Annemarie’s favorite and were included in all of the design. Early July is a great time for local flowers as both ranunculus and dahlias are in-season!

A mountain, vibrant wildflower celebration.

Annemarie chose a small, colorful bouquet but a large, lush ceremony floral ground arch.

We did tall, wildflower compotes down the aisle, as well as a full ground arch. The wonderful thing about a ground arch is it can be repurposed! You will see it again on the dance floor in the reception area.

Reception

A mix of real and faux greenery hanging from the ceiling softened the tent and brought the wildflower theme to the reception. Alpenglow repurposed the ceremony florals in front of the stage on the dance floor. Each round table had a low & lush, medium compote arrangement. We also had florals at the bar, dessert table, and lounge area. Greenery cascaded down the tent poles, as well as both tent entrances.

My favorite moment from this wedding was when I was finishing cleaning up after the wedding. I looked over at the dance floor and Annemarie had her cell phone out taking pictures of the flowers on the dance floor. Seeing the bride savoring the flowers made every hard moment of being a florist worth it. She was (is!) the best!
