organic, locally-grown flowers
Sundrop Flora grows all of our flowers in the Iola Valley, south of Gunnison at Iola Valley Farm. Our farm cultivates vegetables and raises sheep and cows, allowing for organic compost and animal rotation in regenerative farming practices.
All flowers are grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Water conservation is prioritized through drip irrigation, and the growing season is extended using hoop houses, thermal mass heat, and frost cloth with minimal propane use. To limit carbon footprint, flowers are only grown during their natural season from June through September.
